I'm a recent PhD graduate in English at Harvard, soon to start teaching as a Lecturer for the Structured Liberal Education program at Stanford. I live in Mountain View, CA.

My current book project is about global modernism, international sports, and the Olympic Art Competitions of 1912-1948. That research is also the basis for an online digital-humanities project (in development).

I've designed and taught classes on Ulysses, on modernist women writers, and on global short fiction. Right now I'm running a few World Literature classes online for edX, and I’m working on an educational board game about modern art and literature called Manifesto!

You can read more about my research in the Washington Post and Public Books, about my teaching in the Harvard Crimson, or about my Humanities-advocacy for undergraduates in The Chronicle of Higher Education.
